Tobin was an emergency wish and received her travel trailer in August! She is 4 years old and has a nervous system disorder.
“Tobin is a go go girl and loves being outside! Having a camper would open up so many more adventures for our family. We have never been camping with Tobin but it is something we feel she would really enjoy. Tobin’s dad plays softball tournaments in the summer all over Iowa. Depending on where the tournament is we love to take Tobin but when it’s a tournament far away we struggle with keeping Tobin cool in the summer heat. Most tournament sites have a camping ground nearby and having a camper would be perfect for a cool-down break and a place of our own so we don’t have to stay in a hotel. Hotels can get difficult with Tobin with the amount of stuff she needs to travel. Our last hotel stay when we went to the Omaha zoo didn’t have an elevator and our room was on the second floor. Thankfully the hotel staff was about to switch us rooms but if not it would of been very difficult!
“Everything went really well when we picked it up they were all amazing and so helpful! Tobin absolutely loves it and gets a big smile when we talk about her camper! We are so thankful!!”

Having a camper we wouldn’t run into these issues. I have a vision of camping in a beautiful national park and having a bonfire at night while I’m snuggling Tobin listening to the nature sounds around us. As Tobin gets older we don’t know how much time we have left with her and to have these adventures and memories would mean the world to us. When we started thinking about what Tobin would like for her wish we were kind of stumped. Tobin gets overwhelmed easily and isn’t able to participate in a lot of activities so we felt a vacation wouldn’t be in her best interest. A friend had mentioned a camper and I got this explosion of feelings that yes that’s perfect!
Having a camper would allow us to be able to bring everything Tobin would need and provide a safe clean space for her to sleep on our adventures! Thank you so incredibly much for this amazing opportunity!”
