“Brady was diagnosed at 3 months old with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. He has been involved in several treatments and clinical trials. He is following his brother as they both battle this disease together at different stages. He continues to stay strong and do the best he can."
Brady's wish was for a theater/game room. He wanted a place he could spend time with his brother, family and friends. A space that he could use for years to come and share special memories with everyone. Brady created a drawing of what he wanted the space to look like, from movie theater reclining chairs to popcorn maker and snack stand. A big TV and a refrigerator. This wish was in the works for
awhile until we had elevator installed and electrical and drywall up in our basement.
Brady was so happy to find the news that his wish was granted. He spent the day at Lost Island Amusement park and had a wonderful day. Late afternoon we had him meet all the characters from the amusement park. They announced to him that his wish for a theater/game room came true. He was so excited to come home and see the space all setup. It's been a wonderful space for Brady and his family and friends to share with him. He was excited to show everyone. This was be a wonderful space for years to come.
"Make-A-Wish is a wonderful organization. Granting the wishes of these kids is so very special. It means so much for the child and for the family to feel so much support and love. Being able to put a smile on a child'a face and grant their wish is truly amazing. I can't say enough about this great no profit organization.”
