I heard about Make-A-Wish Iowa from the University of Iowa Cystic Fibrosis Clinic. I felt happy that I might be granted a wish.
My wish was to go to a National Park. I ultimately chose Yellowstone National Park and The Grand Tetons. My favorite part of my wish experience was the guided fly fishing expedition. I enjoyed learning a new skill while being surrounded by the beauty and peace of the mountains and river.
This experience gave my parents and I just a time to be together and see a new part of our country. The Make-A-Wish community provided us with an ultimate experience with zero stress!
We had the time of our lives!
Supporting Make-A-Wish matters in that it gives families fighting a medical condition a time to be together and enjoying each other without the stress a daily life.
